What the map is for

Open Aevum and you get one map of living heritage. You can look by category, from Heritage & Roots and Gastronomy to Events & Festivals and Religious & Sacred. The point is not a generic list. The point is to notice the culture that makes a place itself.

On the map, culture shows up as icons you can collect as you go. That is the shape of the app, and the phone on our homepage is an illustration of it.

What stays in the app

Stories about a place are available in the app as in-app purchases or with a subscription. This website publishes guides and practical answers. It does not publish those stories, and it does not list prices.

Save the places you love

Tap the heart to save any place as a favourite, on the free plan too. Your favourites stay in one list, so your next trip is easy to plan.

Your location

If you allow it, the app uses your location while it is open so it can place you on the map. It is not a background tracker. Read the privacy page for the full account of what the website and the app hold.

A plain comparison

People already use big maps and, in many places, an official visitor app. Aevum does not replace either. It is the cultural layer: places and events a person checked, with the character of the place kept in view.
